Let's see what happened in 2009:
- Addie finished her first year of preschool
- Both kids learned to swim with just a floatie suit
- Both kids learned to write letters A,E,I,O,U,M,N,T,S (the rest to come in 2010)
- Both kids learned to read CVC words
- Adalie finished her 2nd year of speech therapy with raving reviews from her therapist
- Admiral still loves movies, CARS and Veggie Tales. With 'Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs' and 'UP' topping his movie list.
- Adalie still loves horses, and her favorite movie is 'free willy' (she only gets to watch it from Chapter 25 to the end)
- Admiral started preschool this year, along with Addie, well, until we removed them.
- We started homschool a year ahead of when we thought - but it is going great.
- I still design fast food restaurants, although not as many as I used to, due to the economy.
- We are the proud owners of a minivan, and I wish I had bought one back in HS.
- Aaron's job has become more of an environmental engineering job with a majority of his time consumed with FEMA regulations. I fear more of the same is to come.
- I had a small fear of breast cancer, but the Lord has blessed us richly, and we don't have to worry for now.
- We have great renters in all 3 houses, and they appear to be staying - yea.
- Aaron and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary.
- Aaron and I both have gray hair - oh, and Aaron is losing his, so he is ok with it.
- We had Christmas at our house this year, for the first time, my first to bake a ham and have jalp. cheese grits.
- The new year arrived while I was asleep - that was a first.
- And the best news of all, I had the privledge of leading one of my friends to Christ. What a great year.
So, what's to come:
- Texas Longhorns will soon be National Champions.
- Dallas Cowboys will be in the superbowl.
- Hopefully I will be typing soon that my parents are moving closer with my brother and his family.
- I have started a new challenge for myself, to help with my diet ADD. I am doing 12 diets in 12 months (with a new blog) in hopes of having a breast reducion in Jan 2011.
- Aaron has been working on his new bod, and I am sure this year will be his year.
- I am going to have to go back blonde to hide the gray in my hair, but when?
- I predict we will remodel the rest of the bedroom, so our new furniture will shine.
- I pray that I still have a job this year that pays the bills.
- More homeschool. The kids will hopefully be reading books by the end of the year.
- We hope to travel with the kids a bit (not just to see my folks) but to Colorado and maybe Montana.
- I hope I will not be recapping in 2011 the steps the US took to arrive at a socialst govenment, but you never know.
- ....
I am leaving 12 blank because the possibilities are endless. Sadly Aaron's vacation is over, and he has to go back to work tomorrow, so I gotta go.
