Is that what your calling 'it'?

When Admiral was potty training, once I put him in underwear I don't put him back in diapers. Instead I bought him themed undies - Elmo, The Incredibles, Cars, etc... and I would say (as some of you have) "don't pee on Elmo" and it really helped him remember.

Lately he has been touching himself all the time. Online, every resource (secular to christian), says to tell the kids they need to go to their room, in private to do that. And not to scold them. So we started doing this. Last night was a gorgeous evening, and after we grilled out, we played in the yard until after dark. Aaron was constantly saying "Admiral, do you need to go inside to touch yourself, because you can't do that out here?" He would reply "no" and stop for a moment, until Aaron had to say it again. I laughed and told Aaron "can you imagine what our neighbors think" as I am sure they are all out in their yards also.

Well, this continued, and I became increasingly embarrassed about this conversation that was being yelled across the yard. So I called Admiral over and said "do you understand that you are not to touch your underwear out here?" He said yes, and ran off. But didn't stop. So I thought about the potty training, and how well that concept worked, and our neighbors wouldn't clue in on it, so the next time he did it, I yelled out "Admiral, don't touch Mr. Incredible!".

Oh man, the look on Aaron's face. I am sure my face was beet red. Aaron said "is that what you are calling it?".
